Sean Patrick has been obsessed with climbing stairs lately, he'll run to any set of stairs he sees and goes at it. He also likes to take our keys and just run as shown below.

Haircut #3

Our third time at Little Kuts in Pasadena. This is the first time SP played in the waiting area, he really liked the "ship" they had in there. This is also the first time that he could sit on one of their animals (he got the horse). He's completely aware of the cutting and buzzing so we had to distract him throughout the session. We celebrated by getting ice cream sundaes afterward :)

Montessori, Week 2

Ready to go to Hand in Hand Montessori, week 2!

I didn't take as many pictures today mainly because we were on the move or in the middle of activities but it was a really fun day. We started out playing outside. Sean Patrick was skeptical at first but then he discovered that he could sweep and, his favorite, the sand box. He was so bummed when we had to go inside.

Inside, we did a bunch of activities. First, I was so proud that Sean Patrick remembered to get a mat and lay it down before playing with an activity. He did it all by himself and handled the activity with two hands (it was on a little tray). There was a toothpick activity that he loved. He was shown how to juice an orange (and drink the juice from a glass like a big boy), wash his hands, sweep the floor and wipe his face. We also had snack time, story time and sang songs.

He's still figuring it all out but this week he definitely seemed more comfortable.

Elmo Chair...on the couch

We got Sean Patrick this Elmo chair a few months ago and he recently started carrying it over to the couch and putting it ON the couch. He's also starting using mom's water bottle.

When Sean Patrick sees the camera, he tilts his head. So here's the I-see-the-camera-so-I'm-tilting-my-head pose:

Bubble Mania

Sean Patrick has been playing outside everyday since he got his little house from the Easter bunny. He loves to open and close the door, over and over and over and...

Breakfast and The Beatles

We were all up very early this morning since Dan had to drop his truck off for service at the shop. So we all decided to go out to breakfast at one of our fave diners, Conrads.

Mmmm...bacon!

Mom, Dad, I need to clean the bacon grease off my hands STAT.

Then we got home and had an impromptu Rock Band drum party to The Beatles tunes.
