Montessori, Week 2

Ready to go to Hand in Hand Montessori, week 2!

I didn't take as many pictures today mainly because we were on the move or in the middle of activities but it was a really fun day. We started out playing outside. Sean Patrick was skeptical at first but then he discovered that he could sweep and, his favorite, the sand box. He was so bummed when we had to go inside.

Inside, we did a bunch of activities. First, I was so proud that Sean Patrick remembered to get a mat and lay it down before playing with an activity. He did it all by himself and handled the activity with two hands (it was on a little tray). There was a toothpick activity that he loved. He was shown how to juice an orange (and drink the juice from a glass like a big boy), wash his hands, sweep the floor and wipe his face. We also had snack time, story time and sang songs.

He's still figuring it all out but this week he definitely seemed more comfortable.
