4th of July BBQ w/Dylan

While Daddy was getting the second leg of the Lil Wayne tour going, SP & Mommy headed to Uncle Matt and Auntie Sue's for some BBQ and splash park action. SP was SO excited to see Dylan and they had a blast.

After visiting the San Diego Zoo, we headed to Uncle Matt and Auntie Susan's for a Memorial Day BBQ. Sean Patrick LOVED the slide on this visit. He's not as quick as Dylan yet but he's trying to keep up.

Teamwork

Because of the Station Fire, we saw Uncle, Auntie and Dylan for an overnight visit. We brought some of SP's toys and the cousins exhibited some great teamwork in playing with it. Dylan would turn the knobs to open up the little doors and SP would close the doors. They did this for a while, it entertained them greatly!

On the way home, SP was out like a light while Pekona stayed alert in the front seat:

Off to the zoo again...

At the San Diego Zoo again today although this time not only did Mommy get to go but also Uncle Matt, Auntie Susan and cousin Dylan! We all met at the zoo and had a great time exploring together. We had a nice lunch in the new elephant exhibit area, there's an outdoor seating area with great views of the elephants.

On the way home, Sean Patrick had fun playing and drinking out of Daddy's water bottle.

4th of July

Good morning America - happy birthday!


We drove down to Menifee, California, for SP's first 4th of July and spent it with family. Uncle Matt, Auntie Susan, Cousin Dylan and Susan's parents (Phyllis and Ron) had recently moved from the Big Island to California and it was our first time visiting since the big move. We had a relaxing day visiting, hittin' the pool and (of course) BBQ! On our drive home, we saw at least 10 fireworks displays :)

Hey Cuz - let's play!

We went to visit Uncle Matt, Auntie Susan, cousin Dylan plus Susan's folks, Ron & Phylis in Menifee, CA. Ron & Phylis recently moved into their new house there and Matt & Sue had just put an offer in on their own Menifee home. It was fun and surreal to hang out with them in California, not the Big Island!

The cousins played together as much as they could, it won't really be much more interactive until SP can do more than sit up :)
